Metal Band of the Week: Whitechapel
Let’s keep the hardcore theme going with the latest in featured metal bands. Whitechapel is a six-member set from Knoxville, TN and they bring the noise in a big way. Their sound is pretty much straight-up in-your-face deathcore; loud, fast and growling, but with the slightest melodic touch to keep it from being too ridiculous.
They’re fairly new on the scene, having released their first album just last year. However, they’ve made a big splash and have already turned out another full-length album this year. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking to get down and dirty with something a little more brutal, they’ll probably fit the bill.

Ah yes. such a great band. I downloaded ‘This Is Exile’ about a month ago and have been spreading the word about this band ever since.
